World's most ecological ultralight airplanes

Pipistrel Company is the only company in the world that produces ultralight two-seat powered glider airplanes. Innovative Slovenian Company has already won several reputable awards for their achievements in construction of ultralight extremely economical airplanes.

VIRUS ultralight side-by-side two-seat cruising aircraft won the NASA Centennial Challenge PAV title in 2007 and Centennial Challenge GAT title in 2008. This year criteria to enter in to the main competition were – 30 miles long flight with 1 liter of consumed fuel, however VIRUS is capable of overcoming even longer distances, thanks to its aerodynamic physical characteristics and ability to glide through the sky with its engine turned-off.
